Texas acoge curso de selección y juzgamiento de ganado
Apenas unos días antes de la mundialmente famosa Muestra de Ganado y Rodeo de Houston, Texas se convirtió en el epicentro mundial de la excelencia del ganado Brahman con el Curso Bilingüe de Selección y Juzgamiento de Ganado Brahman, celebrado el 28 de febrero y el 1 de marzo.
El programa se llevó a cabo en Groveton en el Rancho Casaray, y en su segundo día en Hungerford en Heritage Cattle Co., dos operaciones líderes que reflejan la fortaleza, la tradición y la influencia genética de la raza Brahman en su lugar de origen.
El evento, organizado por Brahman Friends y FLG Agrisolutions, reunió a participantes de toda América para una experiencia educativa intensiva y práctica centrada en la evaluación, la selección funcional y el futuro del ganado Brahman en la industria cárnica global.
Un punto culminante del curso fue la participación de destacados ganaderos y educadores estadounidenses, incluido el reconocido juez y criador Judd Cullers, quien acogió el día en Heritage Cattle Co., y el Dr. Joe Paschal, una de las voces académicas más respetadas en la evaluación y selección de ganado.
